Marriott North FLL

I did a search and couldn't find anything. Has anyone stayed at the Marriott North in Fort Lauderdale? How were the rooms, the hotel restaurant and the hotel area itself? Any other restaurants within walking distance?

I can't comment on the hotel itself, but the neighborhood is fine IF YOU HAVE A CAR. It's not set up for walking and there's really nothing to walk to anyway. It's a residential/office/industrial area that's about 15-20 minutes (in light traffic) north of the airport/Port Everglades area.

I was told the same thing by soemone else. The hotel is nice, no problems there, just that it was away from everything.
