Sailing 1st December, what hotel is best ?

Hi all,

 

My girlfriend And I are flying from Dublin to jfk and we arrive on 30th of November, we are sailing on quantum the 1st of November.

 

1. Can anyone recommend a hotel that's close to the cruise terminal.

 

2. Best way to get to the cruise terminal from the hotel as someone told us that New York cabs don't travel to the cruise terminal or what location be best to stay (correct us if wrong)

 

3.does rcl do shuttles to Manhattan after the cruise as we be in nyc for 4 days after the cruise?

 

If anyone has any information that could help is we would be so grateful and thanks you in advance.

Go to the Cruise Critic category "East Coast Departures" under "North American Homeports". There is a wealth of information there. If you ask this same question, you'll probably get many responses. It's a very active, helpful thread.

We are going on the Quantum in January 2015 and are staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites, 1120 South Avenue, Staten Island, New York. The hotel provides free shuttle service to the port.
