Princess Nancy Posted November 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2014 When I booked my cruise early saver, my PVP, added the vacation Protection. He said I could decide and it could be removed. There is a button that says remove right under the cost online. Tonight I called to make my final payment and the lady that answered said it cannot be removed. Is that correct? I plan to ask my PVP tomorrow. We bought trip insurance from our insurance agent, so I don't want this. Thanks. Nancy

Nancy Here are the terms and conditions of the Vacation Protection from the Carnival site. You may want to look them over. http://www.carnival.com/~/media/CCLUS/Images/pdf/vacation-protection-pdf.ashx I think you should be able to cancel it. Look on the third page from the end. The last paragraph says: Ten Day Right To Examine If you are not satisfied for any reason, you may cancel the travel insurance portion of your coverage within 10 days of your receipt of this document. Your premium will be refunded, provided there has been no incurred covered expense and you have not departed on your Covered Trip. When so returned, the coverage is void from the beginning. Request a refund in writing by providing your contact information as well as a copy of your plan description to our authorized agent, Aon Affinity Berkely Travel, 300 Jericho Quadrangle, P.O. Box 9022, Jericho, NY 11753.
