bschmitt Posted November 17, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 17, 2014 Can anyone help me? Does NCL still make everyone in the suite take the beverage package. My husband likes wine at dinner and Grand Mariner later in the evening with a cigar. I very rarely drink and would hate to have to buy the package for me. Just the two of us, but if we both have to buy it, like they made you do before, it would not be worth it. We wouldn't drink $108 in a day. nyc2theworld Posted November 17, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 17, 2014 Yes. Everyone in a room must buy the same beverage package. The only exception there is deals with someone sharing a room with a under 21 year old guest. If the over 21 guest buys a drink package with alcohol (either Ultimate Beverage or Wine and Beer) then the under 21 year old must purchase the soda package. rvsullivan Posted November 17, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 17, 2014 And a glass of wine at dinner and a drink with a cigar at night would never work out price wise for the UBP! You need to do some pretty serious drinking to make the numbers work, about 7 or more drinks a day each.
LrgPizza Posted November 17, 2014 #5 Share Posted November 17, 2014 I agree that it doesn't sound at all like he'd get his money's worth, even if he could buy it individually, which he can't. You might consider carrying on some bottles of wine and paying the $15 corkage fee instead.
