2-nt cruise--formal night?

Recommended Posts

I'm contemplating taking my sil on a 2-nt cruise to nowhere out of Tampa in Nov to celebrate her getting her strength back following chemo for non-Hodgkins lymphoma. A check of the Carnival website indicates that there is one formal night on a 2-*day* cruise. Does that equal a 2-nt cruise? Has anyone done a 2-nt cruise? How formal is formal?

I read some comments from a lady who just returned from a CTN. Even though she dressed for formal night, apparently not everyone did. In her case, all luggage was carry on and off so that may have limited some people as to how much they packed. As to how formal, I think that is up to you.
