Overnight in San Juan?

You can visit for a day. Don't have to sail from there.

But, yes, sailing from (or to) San Juan is about the only way to add on extra nights.

The past two Novembers, I've done 1-way ship repositioning cruises from San Juan to Miami. Great, unique itineraries (including islands that aren't included in any of this particular line's regular itineraries), and the opportunity to fly down a day or two early for extra time in San Juan.

I've also sailed RT from SJ; flew down a day early and stayed two nights post-cruise in a different area.

I love San Juan!
