We leave this Sunday on the Valor. I can't sleep already. How do I make it through 4 more days of work? I'm so excited.:D
It will be tough! You could fiddle around on the cruise critic message boards while you work (some of us do:) ).

Have you finished all your packing yet?

Keep yourself occupied, and don't think about the cruise! It will come soon enough! in the meantime, find every single thing that can go wrong anywhere at anytime, and find a backup plan. check in online. ask what you should do while onboard.

hey, it beats sitting there.

I'm taking the four days before my cruise off as part of the vacation. But, trust me, I will probably be on this board right before we drive to Omaha. Heck, it's three hours away so I'll get some sleep there.

I cruised her last week, had a WONDERFUL time. That week before you cruise is one extra long week. And the NIGHT before your cruise , well, the only thing I can compare it to is Christmas Eve when you were a kid. Remember lying there on your back, eyes wide open, staring at the window waiting for daylight so it will be Christmas morning? Have Fun!

I know everything you all are saying is true. It's just like Christmas Eve. I did the Ambien thing last night. I've painted multiple houses in my neighborhood. Believe me, I'm not wishing this time away cause the only thing that will happen is that the cruise will be here and gone in a FLASH. I'm going to savor every last minute. Enjoy as much as I can without killing myself, after all, this is a vacation. I'll be sure to post when I get back. Thanks for all the encouragement and advise. As the song goes....."...see you, in September".

We leave Saturday on Triumph, and I'm bouncing off the walls! And we only just decided to do this last month! I don't know how you people plan these things months in advance!

:)

I'm trying to develop sufficient mind control to create the experience of today through Friday going by like lightning, while Saturday through next Thursday will go by at a leisurely pace...

:p

I completly understand what you are going through. I leave this Saturday on the Sensation and I am goin to go crazy if the days go any slower. We leave this Thursday to head for New Orleans so all I have to do is make it thru 1 more day. It will be the longest day EVER. I hope the cruise seems to go as slow as this week has. Have fun on your cruise.....:D

I know exactly how you feel this week has been h**L, I leave Thursday on the Imagination, today is Tuesday only two more days, but each day seems like a week.

It is true though, once it gets here it will fly by, then the depression starts :(

You all have only two more weeks to say hello to Cristina (in the casino). She and her fiancee (my son) will be signing off soon and making wedding plans. Not sure where the future will take them (on sea or on land?). So, anyone going on the Valor between now and September 4 (their last cruise) please look her up in the casino. I know, last time someone looked there were 3 or 4 Cristina's from Romania but she is the one with the engagement ring. If you meet her, you will be one up on me. I've only seen pictures and talked to her.
