Renting a Car at MCO (Orlando) and turning in at Pt. Canaveral and getting to ship

I have to be in Orlando for business several days pre-cruise. I will need to rent a car at MCO on Thursday. Cruise leaves Monday morning and would turn in the car that morning. Has anyone rented a car and returned it in the Pt. Canaveral area. Will the rental car place take you to the port once you have turned the car in?

 

Any recommendations for companies?

we sailed mariner of the seas in may , we rented a car at mco from hertz and returned it pt canaveral , very pleasent people at the hertz office in port canaveral , and yes they will shuttle you over to the ship whenever you are ready.have a great cruise

we used Budget, very efficient. Shuttle from rental office to the port and he was already waiting after the cruise as well.

Most car rental companies in Florida have one way rentals within the state without a drop off fee.

We did the same with Budget. They too have a shuttle to and from the port. They had the best price.
