cloud 9 spa balcony

Can anyone tell me what the view is like from a cloud 9 spa balcony it almost looks like the ship get narrower at the top and that it might effect the view of the ocean.

Same view as any other forward balcony.

The ship does NOT get narrower as the ship goes higher.

 

the view is not obstructed. BUT it does not have a cover either.

The 5 or so most forward cabins look directly down at water. Most balconies (except coves) look down at one of the decks.

 

We always book as far forward as possible.

This depends on deck 11 or 12 as spa balconies are on both decks

On the Dream the Deck 11 spa balconies have a top, but look down on the outside Promenade deck. A couple of the Spa suites are far enough forward to have a view to the water. Deck 12 as said before do not have tops so are often in the sun. The view is not severely blocked, you just don't see the water up against the hull. The balconies are also not as private since people on the Promenade can see you. This is true for most balconies on the Dream, Breeze, and Magic unless you get a cove balcony below the Promenade and the life boats.

We had a spa balcony on 11 under the free weights. The view down from up there is cool, but the people are tiny. We did have a cover and the access to the spa was great. We also had an interior spa once and the quads are CHEAP, but tiny. Great value, not a great space. Being under the gym was not the worst thing ever, but this particular cabin was our worst cabin in terms of loud and unexpected noise- rude weight lifters dropping weights directly overhead at any time, including when the gym was supposed to be closed.

Thanks for all the responses! We did book a Spa Balcony on the Breeze deck 11. Now we just have to wait for June to get here, the waits always the hardest part

The gym was moved/redesigned on the Breeze and Magic as compared to the Dream. The Dream has far more cabins directly under the gym and thus has many reports of gym and weight's noise reported, less so from the other ships in the class.
