I have heard that Sunday and Monday are dead in San Juan with a lot of shops, sites and restaurants closed. We are flying in 2 days early for a cruise and then staying two days post cruise.. Sunday and Monday. Anyone have experience with this? Would it be a good time to take a rainforest tour or similar? Thanks

We have been there many times on Sundays, it's very busy and full of activity. If you go to El Morrow, the families go there to fly kites in the wind. Stay in town, you will have a great time!
