So, we booked 2 rooms to get casino promotion and bring our friends with us. One is under my name and the other is under my husbands. I have friends husband lusted with me and his wife is with my husband. When we get in ship should we go to Guest services and ask husbands name to be switched to the correct cabins it should we just ask for extra room key for each room to give to husbands? We have never booked this way before and am looking for some guidance.

Thanks for your help.

We had two cabins last cruise and we just got an extra key card to our cabin so my mother in law would have access in case she needed anything for our son who was sleeping in her cabin. We didn't bother switching our son to her cabin and me out of it. The extra card worked out fine. I guess in your situation it would be better to switch people in cabin if they didn't feel like carrying around extra key cards.

We've done this twice, but without lusting for each other's spouses. ;)

We all boarded the ship together. We went right to Guest Services where the agent reprogrammed our cards so that my husband was with me and the other married couple was together. It took all of two minutes. Why would anyone want to carry around extra S&S cards when they didn't have to?

Same here I booked DD with my Aunt since it was basically the same price for her as the 2nd person in an inside than it was as the 3rd in our balcony. When I got onboard we went to Guest Service and they gave her a new key card for our room and all her charges now were on my room. I just made sure to let our Steward know as well, but all our rooms were in the same 4 room square so it wasn't to hard on him :)

Guest services reprograms the cards in 2 minutes. LOTS of people trade around. Unfortunately, the check-in agents at the airport or pier cannot make the change, only once you're aboard.

And, only the two switching have to stand in line... not all four of you. We've taken guests on casino freebies several times, and never had an issue.
