Hyatt Pier 66 in FLL ......If you like 'sun and fun'.....

A friend pointed out to me that Hyatt Pier 66 in FLL is currently undergoing a total rebuild of their pool and surrounding grounds. The work is scheduled to be completed about October 25 but who knows if it will be completed on time.

 

IF you care about sunning and sitting around the pool during your pre or post cruise stays, they will shuttle you to nearby properties with whom they have made arrangements.

I've heard that they are going to be directing a lot of their marketing to pre and post cruise passengers. Great option for many cruising people.

We have stayed at Pier 66 for pre and post cruise stays for over ten years. I know there are a number of cruisers here on this Board who always stay there before/after their cruises. This is not new marketing. It is simply time for remodeling. The old pool was beautiful and the grounds well maintained but they were in need of serious work in order to maintain the property at a high level. IMO

 

HAL has used them as their hotel for cruisers for a very long time. Princess used to---not sure if they still do. Cunard also.
