I just received the PROMO GIFT CARDS!

I know everyone was wondering when they were going to be sent out...well, mine came at 5:07 AM via e-mail.

 

I purchased the original ones via e-mail, too.

 

When I was printing it out I noticed that they said they could be used to book a cruise, in fact, the terms and conditions are exactly the same as the non-promo ones.

 

Thanks again to the OP of the Gift Card Promo thread. It's like you just bought me $250.00 Drinks of the Day. :D

Got mine too! That was faster than I expected. Also pleasantly surprised they are not restricted to only on-board use as was suspected by someone somewhere (I think). Gotta love that "free money"!

Got ours this morning also, I probably should have bought more than the 2 $100 cards I got. Next time I am taking advantage of all I can.

Got ours this morning also. Time stamp at 5:04 AM. Used our Carnival Points card and got $100 for each. As said above, "Love the free money."

I got $500 worth of them, so if I can use them to pay for my cruise rather than have all that OBC, I'll be happy to do so! I'm going to call and try to apply them to my balance today, and will post about my success.

Got ours this morning also. Time 4:04am. Wish I would have purchased more cards. Received the 2 $100.

Yep, we received our 3x$100 promo cards this morning. And we were also surprised by the apparent change in restriction. When we bought them, the FAQ clearly indicated that the promo cards could not be used towards the purchase of the cruise fare. No issue for us in any case. They are going to be applied to our S&S portfolio as soon as we board on March 2. And since we will get hit with a $432 gratuities charge on day 2 . . . . well, there it goes!
