Motion Sickness and Mayan Ruins Tours

Hi All!

DH and I are stopping in Belize in Feb. We are very interested in seeing Lamanai, but have read from some that it can be a rather bumpy bus ride and boat ride to the site. My husband suffers from motion sickness...things like quick, jerky movements bother him. He's fine on the ship because the movement (if any) is very predictable and slow. But we're wondering if this may be too much? We both really want to see one of the ruins. Any input anyone has from being on this excursion in the past would be very helpful! Or alternative suggestion as well? Thank you all so much for your help! Oh, we know about the long-ish tender ride into port :)
