I like booking with a TA. When I have a question I just call right down the street and im not put on hold for 10 min and waiting and waiting. I always check online and with Carnival then go to TA. I let her know what I found an she has always is right on the money. Im a T an A kind of guy;)

Since TAs now cannot advertise lower fares than the cruise lines, if you do get a lower fare from a TA (local or online), they are cutting their own commission. Just be sure and ask them about any fees they might charge for any changes or cancellations....also make sure the taxes and port charges are included in the quote. No hidden charges when booking directly with a Carnival PVP, and in my case, my PVP's always available to me, or I get a call back within minutes.:)

I often book with internet only agencies (proven ones of course). You don't have to wait on the phone. Just send them an e-mail and they get back to you in 5-10 minutes. ( We did save about $300 on 6 day cruise comparing to the carnival page)
