liquorstore Posted December 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2014 I booked our Carnival cruise for April 11,2015 directly through Carnival during Cyber Monday (guaran balcony) with no mention of OBC. It sounds like a lot of booking have OBC as part of the booking. How can I get in on the action?

Miller_KC Posted December 30, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 30, 2014 If you booked "Early Saver" you can get OBC any time the price drops, or if you see an offer that is the same price but includes OBC. Just keep checking the price if the cabin class you bought any submit a request if the price drops. If you have not paid the final payment yet, you can get the price drops, or switch to offers with OBC up until your final payment is due, even is you didn't book "Early Saver". You can also buy 100 Shares of Carnival Stocks (running pretty high right now). Every time you sail Carnival you can request OBC, $100 for 7 days. $50 for shorter, $200 for longer. If you are on a Carnival Cruise and book another Carnival cruise you can get OBC on the cruise you book. Same as the Share holders rates. Most of these are not mutually exclusive and can all be added together on one cruise. Another discount is if you have a Verizon Plan that earns points. You can get $100 Carnival eGift cards for $90 plus 1000 points. Use them to pay for your cruise, your S&S card balance, booking excursions online, etc and cut 10% off of your cost after all other discounts and credits you may have applied. stevethepirate Posted December 31, 2014 #4 Share Posted December 31, 2014 If you booked a guarantee, There's nothing to price compare to. You're pretty much done.
Legend Posted December 31, 2014 #5 Share Posted December 31, 2014 The other thing to consider is how much did you pay for your cabin as opposed to what the cost is today with the obc?
firespud Posted December 31, 2014 #6 Share Posted December 31, 2014 We also booked on cyber Monday, and there was no OBC with the deals on that Monday. I have never seen OBC with guarantee room rate.
