judyfssw Posted May 22, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2004 Hi, We're booked on the Summit in the aft handicapped room. My husband's brother and his wife would like to be near us and booked this room. I don't want them to be disappointed with their room as this is their first cruise on Celebrity. Since our cruise is over a year away, they can still change their room if it isn't a good one. Any assistance with this will be appreciated. Thanks, Judy Summit, Alaska - 7/22/05 - Constellation, Southern Caribbean - 2/19/05 - Infinity, Alaska - 7/25/04 - 2/21/04 - Constellation, Southern Caribbean - Another incredibly wonderful cruise 2/22/03 - Constellation (Just a wonderful, wonderful cruise) 2/22/99 - Mercury Monarch of the Sea
warmwinds Posted May 22, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 22, 2004 Their room and balcony will not be as big as yours, but if no other aft cabins become available then it would be fine. They will be at your place all the time enjoying your balcony. They will just have a regular cabin and a regular balcony - still nice, but nothing like 8176. CelebrityMan Posted May 24, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 24, 2004 If you're in 8176, you will be thrilled with the proportions of your stateroom. We were in 8166 on a Summit Hawaii-to-Vancouver cruise and could not have been happier! The size of your private balcony is marvelous, and I agree your family members will be there sharing it with you all the time. Placement at the stern, overlooking the wake is great, as is the marvelous sound of the churning waters as you are under way. Very soothing. Best wishes to all for a marvelous cruise.
