What to do with 9 month old baby?

We have the day in St John in a couple of weeks on the Carnival Breeze. It is my husband, I and our 9 month old. We'd typically be adventurous but will obviously be toning it down. Does anyone have any suggestions on a particular excursion or beach. We have read that Valley Church beach is nice. The Sting Ray tour through Carnival seems to be for all ages- but has anyone done it with a baby? Thanks in advance.

I would recommend sticking with a beach vs one of the boating excursions just so you can easily get back to the ship if you need to. With a 9mo old one of the beaches, we are looking at Dickerson Beach, would be good so you can rent some chairs and umbrella to help with shade.
