Hotel by terminal (port of Miami)

I am looking for an affordable but not nasty hotel close to the Miami terminal for the night before our cruise. Please help or tips I normally stay with family.

I agree...if the Intercontinental is too pricey, try the Holiday Inn right across the street. Both are run by the same company, so you get your points for both! They are both within walking distance of Bayside Marketplace. The port is visible from either.

We used Priceline & "won" the downtown Hilton which was lovely. Also check HotWire if you care about price & cleanliness but don't otherwise care too much about which hotel.
