Parking in Tampa -Hotel

Does anyone know if it is safe to do long term parking a LaQuinta Tampa Bay Airport Hotel. If not, does anyone have an suggestions?

Hotels in the Rocky Point area seem to be the most often suggested on these boards for cruise parking deals - Chase Suites, etc.

 

Hotels in the Westshore/airport area are also suggested, just not as often. You'll need a local to give you a "safety" report.

I live in the area and can tell you that this La Quinta is in a semi-corporate area directly across from a very popular upscale shopping mall. It is off sort of a side street that accesses the shopping mall not actually a busy highway.

 

I, personally, would not have any issues leaving my car parked here while on a cruise.

I highly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn in Riverview. They provide free parking a free shuttle. We always use them when we sail out of Tampa.
