Anyone know what the details were around us leaving late from San Juan tonight? I seen a police dog come on board and once they started to take the ropes in, people with luggage standing on the pier. Just curious and hope everything is okay with all involved.

The passenger was with his wife at El Morro. She said that he excused himself to go to the bathroom and didn't come back. She returned to the ship and hours later she was told by the police that her husband was dead.

The gentleman was found with two syringes with orange caps on his pocket. The widow told the police that he was not diabetic or had any disease that needed injections. He also had money, a credit card and the ship ID inside his tennis shoes. The police is investigating the case as a suspicious death.

This is a link to Yahoo news, not a good article IMHO

If your husband or wife went to the wc and took a long time why would you go back to the ship rather than raise the alarm or at least go looking for them in the bar they entered ?

I agree with you. There is something wrong here and that is the reason I didn't like the Yahoo news article. Made it look like the guy was drunk, no mention of the syringes or the fact that the wife didn't miss him for a couple of hours...
