Carnival Fantasy to GT HMC and Amber Cove, DR

Looking to book another mother- daughter fall break cruise. DD and I came across this cruise out of Charleston--7 days to Half Moon Cay, Grand Turk, and the new port of Amber Cove, DR.

 

Would love to hear fellow cruisers opinions on the ship and itiniery...........

Great ship ,great crew .If you have ,or even if you haven't been to HMC ,or GT and Amber cove is a new port ,I would go and am planning to go on the Oct.11th cruise .Been on the Fantasy 3 times ,had great cruises each one .

I was looking at that itinerary on the fantasy next yr as well. We sail the fantasy in 11 days, so depending on whether we really like it or not we may book her again. If not, it'll be the pride again for our 2016 cruise :p

Our first cruise was on the Inspiration right after the EOF upgrades so we are familiar with this size of ship and it's amenities. My only concern with it being a smaller ship is we really enjoyed the Seaside theatre in the evenings on the past cruises we have been on.

 

We were supposed to visit HMC and Grand Turk on our last cruise on the Conquest but we were re-routed due to a hurricane. So visiting all 3 new ports ( assuming weather does not become a factor again) is a plus for this particular cruise.

Have not been on the Fantasy, but loved HMC and GT (kayaked). I made a slide show of HMC that is on the private island board. The very first cruise I ever took went to DR. I learned to scuba from the beach there. It was beautiful.

6 voyages on the Fantasy. We LOVE this ship. We are booked on the Oct 11th tour with the new Dominican Republic stop. So excited!!!

I posted I went to HMC; it was LSC. I still think it would be a great itinerary, but I guess I can't post that since I haven't been there! Hope you love it if you go:)

Awesome itinerary. I love those worry free sun and sand ports.

We are on a similar itinerary with HAL in February - HMC, GT, Amber Cove and Nassau (we love Atlantis day passes):)
