FRMPEI Posted January 19, 2015 #26 Share Posted January 19, 2015 Here in halifax it saves us money there are no direct flights and the ones that connect in toronto or newark are big $$$$ plus the extra day before and after in hotels in miami 2011,2012, and 2013 we flew direct from Halifax to Ft Lauderdale with Transat. It was great... leave cold Halifax early morning and arrive in sunny Ft Lauderdale by noon then board the ship NICE! Then for 2014 Transat pulled this flight out of Halifax and no more direct Transat flight from Halifax bummer. Then our Travel Agent told us to watch the local papers because Celebrity was going to charter out of Halifax and Moncton. Boom! there it was an awesome all inclusive deal out of Moncton. Nice! girlpookie Posted January 19, 2015 #27 Share Posted January 19, 2015 i looked for charters last time we went it was on canjet in FFL but none to be found this time  Air Canada had one on a select date that wouldn't work too well for $1400 each  one and 2 stops were $800 but was the milk route one cheap one was an over night in T.O. 26 hours trip home! i saw this and took it priced out it is cheaper with all the other stuff added in. Sea you in march!
RickT Posted January 19, 2015 #28 Share Posted January 19, 2015 You can thank Air Canada and it's "Anywhere you want to go as long as you're willing to go through Toronto" flight routing for this all inclusive package :D Hopefully this continues to be successful and they keep it up and perhaps expand it to some 10-11 day itineraries. Friends did this from Ottawa last year and said it was quick and painless... and was one of the reasons they decided to try a cruise. Now, behave once on board, we don't want a bunch of rowdy Maritimers ruining our stellar international reputation
CruiseCtrl Posted January 5, 2016 #29 Share Posted January 5, 2016 Does anyone know if you can book the on board "Book Now" or "Book Later" option for the "Book and Go Deal" that includes airfare from a Canadian city or is that special offer only available if you call in? BBsails Posted January 5, 2016 #30 Share Posted January 5, 2016 Sure wish they'd do a charter from the West Coast of the US to FLL or MIA. Are you listening, =X=? Betsy
