WiFi cost on GEM 9 day

Onboard internet is the same for a one day cruise as a 20 day cruise. Depending on the ship, most charge by the minute. Some have now gone to a charge by MB used. The price on the GEM should be almost the same as it was on your recent Star, Jewel and Gem cruises. Seems like it has not changed in past few years.

As to PR - some carriers consider that part of the U.S. Not sure if all do. Seems that either St Thomas or PR was not by Verizon. I am 99.5% sure ATT considers it domestic - no extra charge.

Anyone know the cost of WiFi on the Gem for a 9 day cruise? Also if there is free Wifi anywhere in Puerto Rico ? Will my AT&T phone work in Puerto Rico without going to roaming ??

Thanks

We have smart phones on AT&T and Old San Juan was in our coverage area. No additional charges to call, text, check email, and browse the web. Same coverage in St. Thomas. For other ports, we brought our phones alone (in airplane mode) and turned on Wi-Fi IF we happen to find a free hotspot. We did not utilize the onboard Wi-Fi.
