Shipboard Photo Question

Recommended Posts

Just a question...

Can you reproduce the photos that you buy on the ship? Or are they subject to the same copyright laws as others that you have taken by professional photographers? We had a great 8x10 family shot taken, which we purchased and if it's not illegal, I'd like to have it scanned and used with Christmas cards. And if you can't reproduce them, is there any way to get (smaller) copies?

Anybody have info on this? Thanks!

I've always taken ours to the local CVS or Walgreens and just scanned it right on their photo scanner and punched in what I wanted for copies. 95% of the time the staff working never checks to see what is being copied and reprinted.

I also have a scanner at home and I use that to download it right into photoshop and then I bring the disk in with the photos I want to order.
