Rare trippingpara Posted January 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 27, 2015 This is the first time and we're cruising with 3 people in a cabin and are wondering how the sofa bed works. Does the steward set up the sofa each night and then set the sofa back up in the morning or does it stay a bed the whole time? From what I understand, the sofa bed doesn't pull out like a traditional sofa bed at home. Does anyone have any photos of the sofa bed?
Cgsanders Posted January 27, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 27, 2015 we have had 3 people in a room several times. The room steward will make up the bed each night and then convert it back to at a sofa in the morning. basically just pull off the sheets and pillows. Have a great cruise! RWolver672 Posted January 27, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2015 They are not traditional sofas. The backs are just pillows that they take off at night. In some cases, the steward will leave it set up as a bed. In that case, we took the bedding off during the day. The following day, the steward did it. It just depends on the steward. You can tell them if you want it left as a bed or made up each night.
cruisingbandmom Posted January 27, 2015 #4 Share Posted January 27, 2015 Just let the room steward know what you want. My daughter prefers the sofa bed to the bunks. It makes the room seem smaller if they don't make it up everyday. We have them to make it up everyday so we don't have wet sheets or sand and find it at midnight.
