sdnich Posted January 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2015 We are now booked in 1124 and 1126 which I read has a bigger deck but I am wondering if you loose room inside with having the small entryway outside of the front door???
Kitekat Posted January 28, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 28, 2015 If you are on an S class ship the outer doors to the corridor are closed, so there is no recess to the cabin doors. Inside these outer doors, you can leave your cabin doors open or closed as you wish. All passes will open the outer doors and the specific cabin. You will not lose any cabin space. Also ask your steward to open the door between the balconies. We love this when travelling with family. If you are on M class, someone else will have to let you know. kaseyoz Posted January 28, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 28, 2015 You actually gain a tiny bit of space from the little vestibule . We had a baby with us so suited us wonderfully. Just remember to turn the locks on as when you press the button to release the inner doors both slam shut quite hard.

Kitekat Posted January 28, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 28, 2015 Sorry no photos. You can choose whether to leave your inner cabin door(s) open or closed. We often leave them open in the day so we can pop round, but then close them at night for privacy. Draughts can be a problem for any of the cabin doors if the sliding door to the balcony is open too. It's a good gym work out for arms! Love Solstice, have fun. We will be boarding her in April, but on our own this time.
