Cinderellie Posted February 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2015 Hello. Are they just production/magic/comedian shows on the Grandeur, or are there any Broadway-type theater shows during a 10-day cruise from Baltimore to the Caribbean? Is there a passenger talent show? Thanks.
livinginyellow Posted February 3, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2015 Hello. Are they just production/magic/comedian shows on the Grandeur, or are there any Broadway-type theater shows during a 10-day cruise from Baltimore to the Caribbean? Is there a passenger talent show? Thanks. This is based on my experience when I was on the 8-day Thanksgiving cruise last November: No passenger talent show and no big Broadway-style show. In the 8-days we were on the cruise, there was a welcome show with the band, dancers, etc. Then a magician show, 2 broadway-style shows, a puppet show, love and marriage show, magician show again (we had skipped Key West so couldn't pick up our newest performer so saw the magician again who was really good so we didn't mind), the quest and then a closing show. The Broadway-style shows were the band/dancers with a theme, not a specific show like cats or anything. I didn't go, so I can't remember what the theme was, but I heard it was OK. A few nights there was also an aerial-spectacular in the atrium, which was worth going to. Was I super impressed by anything? Other than the magician, who was the best I've ever seen, no. The love and marriage game show was great, and the quest is always awesome. But nothing was worth writing home about. It was fun though, so still go! papajak Posted February 4, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2015 It is an adult scavenger hunt type of game. Absolutely hilarious! Do not miss it!!
bananawindnj Posted February 4, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 4, 2015 Entertainment is so subjective. We usually go to the shows to fill the night before late dinner. It is pot luck. We usually sail on Grandeur and they are average compared to the rest of the fleet, other than the new huge ships with big name musicals. One quest and one family feud is worth going to. They can be watched on TV sometimes later in the cruise. from my iPad using Forums mobile app
