Latitudes Dinner Perk

I had never realized this before today -

One can't reserve dinner reservations for their Latitudes Dinner before they sail. I couldn't find how to do this online so I called NCL and they confirmed.

You must go to the Restaurant Reservation Desk to do this once onboard.

I was looking have this dinner perk the day of embarkation and that's why I wanted to reserve it beforehand. Now I'm wondering if I'll be able to get the place and time I'm interested in once onboard.

You can reserve ahead of time if you charge it to your credit card, then when onboard go through the hassle of getting it refunded.

We did not have any trouble making reservations at Le Bistro the evening we boarded. Just go first to the restaurant reservation desk which is near Guest Relations desk.

Next cruise will be our first Platinum dinners freebie for us. But NCL only books a percentage of available dinner space per venue on a cruise. No problem with booking when you board, or even the day of. ( exception being for Teppanyaki which has very limited seating ). We do walk ups frequently and never a problem, at most a small wait.

Have Platinum status use the services of the Concierge.

Sail away night reservations in a specialty restaurant should be no problem*

* except for the Teppanyaki limited seating.

Just be a bit flexible on dining times and if your first choice is not available

perhaps select another restaurant.

I thought of doing that but then remembered about the 24 hour cancellation charge. Besides, way to much of a hassle while on vacation! LOL

Great news, thanks! I've never had a problem in the past but never wanted the day of embarkation before. Nice to know.

I forgot all about the Concierge......I never really use him/her for reservations as I've always just made them myself once onboard or usually have the Casino Host make them for me.

Thanks for the reminder if I have a problem doing it myself once onboard.

Patrick is a great concierge and he should be able to book anything you request.
