We did both in August. While I loved the main food choices at portofino I did not like the dessert choices. I think for me chops was a better option because I found something I loved from appetizer to dessert. Maybe I should ask for a dessert from chops while dinning at Portofino:p

Ate dinner last week at Portofinos on Jewel. I had the lamb, cooked to perfection. DH had the filet and loved it. We had three appetizers and enjoyed them as well. Well worth the $20 charge.

We enjoyed the meal at Chops last month on Jewel. Service was a little slow and others complained of the same.

We sailed on the Jewel 4 times last year. Ate in both restaurants several times. They are both very good to me. I like something about both. Yes.....Our service was a little slow the last time we were in Chops, but the other times were OK. Heading back to the Jewel for two more cruises soon. Can't wait.
