Favorite balcony cabin? Aft?

I'm new to the Norwegian boards, just sailed RCCL's explorer of the seas in july... We're now booked for an Easter cruise 4/06 10 day eastern out of NYC on the DAWN.

We had a great balcony "hump" cabin and loved it...

Can anyone tell me if you have a preferred balcony .....

 

What are the pools like, the picture looks very pretty....

Just looked through someones pictures they posted on this board and they were great... I keep reading reviews, messages and love what I'm reading...

I prefer an aft balcony, the ones aft on the 10th deck on the DAWN/STAR are awsome.

Maybe its not on all ships? A hump cabin is a group of a few cabins on each deck that extend out further than most balconies making it more private as well. We just had one on RCCL Explorer of the seas and it was great. Origionally we had a balcony aft cabin but because it was such a huge ship the walking distance to the steps/elevators was too much for my Mom. The Hump cabin was right at the steps etc....

 

So now you know what a "hump" cabin is!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Carrie I was curious. The AFT balconies on deck 10 the DAWN/STAR are the deepest ones on the ship, I think. I agree it is quite the walk to the elevators and stairs, but I need the walk after the chocoholic buffet.

You can tell by my signature what my favorite cabin is. I have an aft on deck 10 on the Dawn in November. Can't wait.
