Car Rental - Port of Baltimore

We will be renting a car in Virginia and driving up to Baltimore for our Carnival Pride cruise.

Does anyone know if there is a car rental agency near the port or one that will provide transportation from the return location to the port?

We have done this a few times from Orlando to Port Canaveral and it worked out great.

Which car rental are you renting from or planning to, including availability and one-way dropoff charges. The port is south of downtown Baltimore and if I recall correctly, BWI Airport is the closest dropoff for the big ones and then it's transport at your own expenses to/from the port. How many traveling & # of luggages?

I don't think any of the car rentals do pickup or dropoff between their locations and the port.

Also, is Amtrak being considered as an option although those connections aren't great either, it will get you to BWI Airport or city's downtown - and, then call for a taxi for the final segment.

I agree that the closest drop off location for most of the major rental car companies is at BWI Airport Car Rental Facility, about 15-20 minutes south from the port. They MAY have a free shuttle that does cruiseport drop offs. You'd have to ask the rental car company for that info. Enterprise is a big local company that has many locations throughout the region. They offer limited drop offs so maybe start with them.
