asdjl Posted February 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 8, 2015 Hi, I am a new cruiser (only 2 in the last 25 years, one on HAL to Alaska 25 years ago, and 1 last year on NCL getaway). I am looking to book 2 Ocean View, and would like adjoining for 3 travelers total. I have talked to a PVP and done my own research through CCL website. When I put in 1 room 3 travelers many options, 2 adjoining options, in particular, come up. But when I do 2 rooms, with 1 and 2 travelers in each, different ocean views show availability. Happy to do deluxe OV as well, they need to be OV because this is the highest category I can book with minors in their own room. I am the only adult traveling. So my question is are there OV that are only for 3 or more people? Thanks!
thomarvin Posted February 8, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 8, 2015 what ship are you looking at and minors CAN be booked in there own cabin depending on their age: From Carnivals website: Guests 12 and younger - If the relative or guardian insist on booking separate staterooms, minors must either be directly across the hall or next door. Guests 12 and under may not be assigned to a balcony cabin without a relative/guardian. Guests 13 - 17 years of age - Can be booked up to 3 staterooms away from their relative or guardian. Guests 18 – 20 years of age - Do not have any restrictions and may book whatever location they prefer.
