What happened on the Dream in Cozumel?

I was on the pride and shared a dock with dream. Ambulance drove onto the dock while we were getting off. Didn't want to crowd the pathway but did see a couple get out of ambulance crying. Just curious.

When was this? I heard of a death during a snorkeling excursion that happened to someone on the Dream. May have been the deceased's family being returned to the ship to gather their belongings?

Hmm let's see. We left Tampa Sunday Feb 1 and had a day at sea before Cozumel. So it would have been Tuesday February 3.

It does, there was a helicopter medivac on our Dream cruise back in 2011.

If you watch patiently, you will see an ambulance in every port, going to every ship, every cruise... It just happens, and alot..

We heard there were 2 bodies found in a cabin Wed morning but never heard anymore. Was afraid to ask anyone. Someone on the same floor said they were not allowed to go down that hallway because of it. That is why I got on here to see if anything was mentioned

I know nothing about this post's date in question, but have seen ambulances on different cruises - not all on Carnival Dream.

Back when they had informal ask-anything chats with a crew-member, we were told that they expect and are prepared for a few deaths each cruise. We were also told that many elderly people take cruise after cruise after cruise because it's cheaper than an assisted living facility and that many elderly would rather die on a cruise than on land. I assume that this kind of opinion from a crew-member is likely why they don't do chats with a crew-member anymore...:rolleyes: Anyhow, don't now if it's true or just that person's opinion, but it made sense. FWIW
