Allis154 Posted August 31, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 31, 2005 According to Destiniaton Nova Scotia: "Three city blocks of Canada's oldest surviving group of waterfront warehouses and some of North America's finest Victorian-Italianate facades. Historic Properties is noted as Halifax's favourite waterfront marketplace, offering one-of-a-kind specialty shops, great restaurants and unique events, all with true Nova Scotian flavour! Visit the harbourside boardwalk, Canada's oldest art college and a Visitor Information Centre. A Heritage Canada Designation." They are a few blocks up the harbour from the cruise ship terminal. Rick1965 Posted August 31, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 31, 2005 Here's a map which may help http://halifaxinfo.com/WaterfrontHRMt.pdf And here's another link which may help as well http://www.where.ca/halifax/subcategory_guide.cfm?subcategory_id=8&category_id=6&subtitle_id=45 If you scroll down the page of the second link there is a short write up about it as well. It's within walking distance of the cruise dock and is quite interesting, alot of shops and places to eat. Rick1965
