carnival03 Posted February 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2015 Which has the more room/bigger? To me, the ocean view would be bigger since it doesn't have to compensate for balcony space, thoughts?

k2excursion Posted February 9, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 9, 2015 With the larger ships, you are correct that the oceanview room would have more space than the indoors part of the balcony room. However, that is not the case on this ship. This ship is very awkwardly shaped, so it doesn't work the same way. The oceanview rooms are 185 sq.ft, while the balcony rooms are 185 sq.ft. indoors plus the outdoor space. These are the reported numbers. For future reference, please keep in mind that the reported numbers are not always true. There are many false claims of size, even with standard shaped rooms, on that website provided. However, in your case, with these 2 types of rooms, on this ship, those numbers are accurate.
