bazarr2 Posted August 31, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2005 I was just wondering how they decide what dining room you eat at, I am on the Carnival Victory aft 2 floors below the pacific dining room, is that where they will seat us???:D
nybumpkin Posted September 1, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 1, 2005 No guarantees, but I think it would be likely you'd be in Pacific, unless your booking is linked to someone with a forward cabin. Pacific is the larger of the two dining rooms. We were on Panorama Deck (forward) and were in the Atlantic for dinner. On Conquest, we had a forward cabin on Lido linked with an aft cabin on Riviera, and were in the Monet (aft) dining room. If you're on Riviera (I assume so, since that's deck 1 and the dining room main level is deck 3), remember that if you are assigned the Atlantic dining room, you just need to walk all the way forward on Riviera, then up either stairs or elevator to the main lobby. Eliot Ness Posted September 1, 2005 #3 Share Posted September 1, 2005 I think it might have more to do with what time you are assigned to eat. We were fairly far forward on the Victory, but since we had early (5:45) seating we ate in the Pacific dining room. Two of the other couples at our table also had cabins closer to the front of the ship. Enjoy your cruise, the Victory is a great ship!
