sallymomo Posted February 13, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2015 Hello Everyone, We are booked for Carnival Magic in April. We are a big group. 3 families of 4 each. So we are 12 people altogether. 2 of families are first time cruisers. When we booked, we got the Discounted rate since everyone in my family were past cruisers. So our PVP suggested we book 3 rooms (one in DH name, one in mine and one in DS name) and to change the guests once we were on board. This way all rooms would receive our discounted rate. We were also given a $50 OBC per room. So my question is...is that OBC associated with the names that are booked in the room or is it associated with the room number. So essentially what I am asking is that will my family get the $150 OBC since all rooms are booked in our name or when we make the changes to the room and put our friends in the correct rooms, will the credit be deducted from their bill? Thanks
LCTXcruiser Posted February 13, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 13, 2015 From past experience the OBC is booked by the name of the person, not the room number. You'll notice when you get there and look at your starting bill that you should have a credit per person listed.
cruizinisthebest Posted February 13, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 13, 2015 Yes whatever name each individual cabin is booked under, the OBC will go to them on their s&s folio #.
sallymomo Posted February 13, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted February 13, 2015 So if we move the room into someone elses name and me and DS move into the room under my DH, we would see the credit being taken off from our expenses...correct. Cuz if thats true then woooohooooo :D thats $150 to spend on the cruise
