Grand Cayman Shopping/Excursions

Is there enough time at the Grand Cayman port to do shopping downtown and do the 7 mile beach break at tiki beach (our ship is there for 8 hours)?

You should be fine. How long is your excursion to 7 Mile Beach? The downtown shopping area is in the same area that you will catch the tenders back to your ship.

If you take the "bus" from the pier to 7 Mile Beach, you'll get off at Public Beach/Calico Jack's. There are water sports, chairs, food, drinks, etc. there and the buses wait in the parking lot for folks who want to return, so you can go back downtown anytime you want to.

 

Go to the area that says (I think) Taxis/Ground Transportation and there's someone there who coordinates the buses to the beach. It was $5pp each way just a couple weeks ago.

You really don't need an "excursion" to go to the beach!! You can go for as long as pleases you..and do your shopping before heading back to the dock!

While there is a variety of shopping in George Town near the port (heavy on the jewelry stores) you can find more great shopping in Camana Bay.
