honeypie72 Posted September 1, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2005 I see several references to internet packages. Can someone give me some info as far as pricing? I know when we were on EOS in Jan 04 I think it was .25/min or .50/min-I can't remember which? Are "packages" that make it cheaper? THANKS! Travel Nut Posted September 2, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 2, 2005 honeypie72, I will be on the Voyager at the end of this month and have the same question as you. Hopefully someone out there has an answer.
Rare Vacation Nut Posted September 2, 2005 #3 Share Posted September 2, 2005 We have just come off AOS - we took our lap top and there are several sites around the ship where you can log on to the wireless network (the Viking Crown Lounges and the Promenade decks for instance). Anyway, we knew we were not going to be on much and so we didn't buy a package. Instead, it was 50 c a minute at sea and 25 c/minute in port between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Addtionally, as crown and anchor members we had a booklet for $5 free internet time (so $10 in total for the two of us). We spent about $6 dollars/day for 5 days = <$30 and then had $10 deducted for the crown and anchor coupons. I will see if I kept the sheet with the package options. Travel Nut Posted September 2, 2005 #4 Share Posted September 2, 2005 Thanks Vacation Nut. Hopefully you will find the price list. I hope RCCL send out our coupon booklets soon (we leave in 3 weeks), so that we can take advantage of those savings also.

VacationNut Posted September 2, 2005 #6 Share Posted September 2, 2005 Hi Again The coupons were on our bed in our cabin - are you a crown and anchor member? I am so sorry, I threw away the internet package information. If your lap top has a wireless card you will be able to use the hot spots around the ship, otherwise you have to pay to rent a wireless card. Travel Nut Posted September 3, 2005 #7 Share Posted September 3, 2005 Vacation Nut/tonyo, Thanks for the info. I am a crown and anchor member, but I do not have a laptop. I thought you get the coupons in the mail. I didn't realize you are given them on the ship.
