Freeport Beach excursion???

We will be in Freeport March 19th. I want a relaxing beach day. Anyone have any suggestions? I really don't want to hop on a bus to go somewhere.

a taxi/van is the cheapest and easiest way to get to the beacj in Freeport. get off the ship and follow the masses to the taxi stand. Tell them you want to go to "Our Lucaya" This is the little town that has hotels shopping a casino and the beach. Most of the hotels will want to charge you an entrance fee for using their facilities but if you just want beach it is free. Go to the public access next to the police station and it should be free. Very nice pretty water. Enjoy!

We will also be in Freeport March 18. How is Junkanoo beach? Will it be overly crowded? Any suggestions for the best beach/resort to go to? Swim, snorkel, drink, eat etc.
