liquorstore Posted February 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 18, 2015 I have an April booking on Sunshine on an unassigned guarantee balcony. I was too late to get ES and full payment has been made so I don't have price guarantee. If I find an exceptional price drop on the same guaranteed balcony is it possible to cancel the original booking minus $50pp and rebuy at the new rate for OBC? Would that effect previously purchased excursions and pre-paid gratuities?

The penalty will depend on how close to sailing you are and what rate you booked. It will effect all purchased excursions and pre-paid gratuities since you are cancelling the entire booking. jenng1976 Posted February 18, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 18, 2015 You would be subject to the normal cancellation fees - not a $50/person charge. So, the fee would depend on how close to sailing you were when you cancelled.

mikey806 Posted February 18, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 18, 2015 Wouldn't the cancelation fee be 75% of full fair paid. Or even 100 %

liquorstore Posted February 18, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted February 18, 2015 Thanks for the information. Just checked and fees make it impossible to do.
