GEM ocean view questions

Hi,

Has anyone stayed in a Ocean View on Deck 8 in the back of the ship? Cabin 8612 area ??? It shows its above the Bliss. Will there be noise or do you think its ok?

Hi Kevin, I stayed in cabin 8612 back in January, 2014. The cabin was very quiet and comfortable.

I was also in an 8th floor Ocean View on the Gem last February and never heard a sound from Bluss. In fact, It was a very convenient location and would not hesitate to book it again.

We are staying in rooms 8606 and 8614 in July, good to hear its a good location. A few questions, I booked these through Liberty Travel (guaranteed I assume), is there a chance we could be moved? If so, would they move both rooms since we booked together?
