Do I loose OBC if if upgrade after final payment?

I already made my final payment and I had $100 OBC because of the wow sale. If I upgrade my room to higher category in the future do I get to keep the OBC or not?

You lose the OBC unless it is part of a current sale. I asked the same question to an agent today.

Recently, after final payment had been made, we had the opportunity to upgrade from a JS to an OS. When we booked the JS, there was a $500.00 OBC attached. The new promo at the time of our upgrade only allowed a $400.00 OBC, so we lost $100.00.

 

Royal Caribbean has changed its pricing procedures over the past couple of years, and I must say that even though it was easier for us to understand the old rules, the new rules, and fare basis must be working for RCI, as they continue to fill their ships, and the investors love them, as the stock is about double....of CCL.

 

We continue to love Royal Caribbean, even with the quirks, and a week or two at sea beats a week or two working.......any day of the week.:)

When I upgraded from a junior suite to an owner's suite, for our November, 2014 cruise on the Allure, our travel agent was able to do it without losing our $300.00 onboard credit from the WOW sale. You just never know what may happen.
