AandBmom Posted February 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2015 I'm trying to find the right ship for our range of kids. When we sail they will likely be 11, 10, 6 and 5. They like to be active. The like the camps on cruises but also like to surf, climb, crawl, jump, fly, be entertained, etc. What ship did you find kept them entertained the most? So far we loved the Carnival Breeze and RCCL Freedom of the Seas. We didn't love the NCL Epic b/c we didn't feel the kids had enough to do. Stuff was closed a lot of the time, things had extra charges, the staff seemed disinterested, the splash stuff was laid out in such a way that we couldn't do it all as a family. Any new recommendations for us to try? I can't wait for the Carnival Vista. It looks so good.
cb at sea Posted February 28, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2015 Stick to what you like....either Carnival or RCI is the general consensus for kid's activities!
Mistyhon Posted March 1, 2015 #3 Share Posted March 1, 2015 We loved CArnival Magic more than Sunshine (with the kids.) I think it may have been due to layout convenience versus options though. They're both pretty comparable.
WAHMto5 Posted March 4, 2015 #4 Share Posted March 4, 2015 We have 5 children of all different age groups and they love any of the larger Carnival ships, especially the ones with water works. Of course, there is always Disney that has something for all ages as well;) We can't wait for the Vista as well!!
