Wheelchair escort debarkation at Bayport terminal

We almost missed our flight in Los Angeles because of the way NCL handled wheelchair disembarkation. There were not enough wheelchair pushers and the crew member assigning escorts paid no attention to the order of luggage tag colors. Later flight people were given escorts several times before earlier flights despite our speaking up.

Does anyone have experience with how wheelchair disembarkation is handled at Bayport terminal?

It hurts my husband's back to stand in line so he usually asks for wheelchair escort. But if it is going to be handled badly again, he'd rather have back pain than miss flight. It's 1:30pm so shouldn't be a problem. But after our Los Angeles experience I don't know. We waited over two hours for DH turn for escort.
