LOS-81 Days Out Dining Reservation Still Not Opened

Hi,

 

I am first time cruiser on RCL. LOS 05/21/15. I have been trying to make online reservations for dining for our sailing. We are 81 days out and the reservation system is still not opened up for our cruise. I called and spoke to someone at RCL resolution dept and was told nothing would open up until after final payments were made.

 

I have cruised several other lines and never had an issue with reserving dining for speciality restaurants well before final payment. Does this sound correct??

I am on a sailing the week before you on the explorer. I called Royal questioning the same problem. They indicated to me that reservations should be open for booking this week.......we will see!
