tarheelmjfan Posted September 4, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2005 I have been searching for AI options in OR. Through a Google search, I found a site that says Grand Lido Sans Souci, Grand Lido Braco, & Couples OR all offer day passes. I can't find an email address for the Super Clubs to ask questions. A search on this board has been fruitless, as well. Does anyone know if these resorts offer day passes to cruise ship passengers or are they only for wedding guests? Have any of you visited any of the resorts? After reading about how cold the water at the Falls is, we're thinking about going this route instead. Thanks :)
tarheelmjfan Posted September 5, 2005 Author #2 Share Posted September 5, 2005 I finally found an email address for Sans Souci & just now received a reply. I also email Sandals, but haven't gotten a reply yet. I wasn't able to find the email address for Braco. This is the reply I received from Sans Souci: Thanks for your email. Yes we do offer day passes at a cost of US$75.00 per person. It starts at 10:00a.m. – 5pm. It includes food, drinks, alcoholic beverages, watersports activities, and use of the Gym. If you are going to purchase it with us please take an id and you purchase it at the front desk.

TheWog Posted September 7, 2005 #5 Share Posted September 7, 2005 Couples was a great resort. We did a land based vacation there in 03. We loved it and would go back in a second and also recommend it to anyone. The beach is great, food was wonderful, drinks were plentiful. Hot tubs, pools, small little casino, etc. They also have an au natural island if you would like to explore that. This resort would be my choice. tarheelmjfan Posted September 7, 2005 Author #8 Share Posted September 7, 2005 Wog, Is there ample "non" au natural beach at the resort? Thanks :)
M&T Posted September 8, 2005 #9 Share Posted September 8, 2005 When you say that the price includes food and drinks, is there a limited amount you can have for that price? At the Couples Resort, does the price include their water activities? Could you post the email addresses you used? Thanks. Marlyne
TheWog Posted September 8, 2005 #10 Share Posted September 8, 2005 Wog,Is there ample "non" au natural beach at the resort? Thanks :) Yes, there is ample beach space there along with chairs. The pool overlooks the beach. The beach is actually quite large and there was a raft to swim out to and lay on if you wanted. All beach space is non-au natrual. When we were there we had no limit to the amount of food or acohol you could consume. I imagine it would be the same for a day pass. The water activities such as kayaks, water skiing, etc. were all included, but as mentioned I was a hotel guest at the time. I am not sure if those are included in the day pass. I would check with the resort.

Marlyne Hi Marlyne, It was my understanding that the day pass includes everything that an AI package at the resort would. Here's the email for Couples to verify this info: corsalesmgr@couples.com I'm not sure if you want the email for the Sans Souci Resort or not. How far is Couples- do you taxi there and how much would taxi be to get there? Is the day pass 50 or 75??????? LOLThanks! That seems to be the question of the day. :p I can only tell you that I got 2 seperate emails from Maxine Williams (Couples Sales Manager) saying the day pass for the date we'll be there is $50. The pricing discrepancies could have something to do with the day of week or time of year. I suggest you email them telling them the date you will be there & ask what the rate is. Sorry, but I have no idea about transportation. We plan to take a taxi, but I don't know how far it is from the dock.
