BearySweet2Cruise Posted September 5, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 5, 2005 I am scheduled to leave for Sovereign on October 10th. I have not received any email from RCCL, (booked from RCCL website) and also bought travel insurance. I have not received any documents or any email from them.. only 34 days away. I will call on Tuesday (since Mon is labor Day) but wondered if any one else has had a problem not getting docs this close to the cruise?

We went through a TA and got our 3 weeks out. Many don't get them until about 2 weeks out.

barbyma Posted September 5, 2005 #4 Share Posted September 5, 2005 If I were leaving in 10 days and didn't have docs, I'd definitely call. SetSail doesn't effect docs. Did you use a Travel Agent? If so, they probably have them.
Murphy Posted September 5, 2005 #5 Share Posted September 5, 2005 We are on the Oct 2 sailing of the Enchantment and received our docs about 10 days ago, so you will probably get yours soon. Did you book air thru RCCL? If so, those tend to take a couple weeks longer.
firstcruise05 Posted September 5, 2005 #6 Share Posted September 5, 2005 I've seen people with an Oct. 10th sailing post this week about receiving their docs. So yours should come to you within the next few weeks. The Oct. 10th sailings are just now being sent out so no...I wouldn't worry about it yet if I were you. Shak Posted September 5, 2005 #8 Share Posted September 5, 2005 Even if you do the SetSail program you should receive some documents from RCCL including most importantly luggage tags. If under 30 days and you have not receive them I would call. RCCl is open today. Shak
PelicanBill Posted September 5, 2005 #9 Share Posted September 5, 2005 We sail 10/7 on the Voyager and do not have our docs... but others on our roll call just started gettign theirs in the last 3 days, so I figure up to another week. Also, when you book with a travel agent I think the docs go to your agent, who must call you or might mail them out to you, which is another possible week longer. At 3 weeks before sailing you should definitely call whoever you booked with.
