Hello we are going on the Valor in less than two months and need to stay overnight in Pt. Canaveral. I only stay in 4/5 star rated hotels when I am away but there are none in this area, which place do you feel would be best for us to spend the night Country Inn and Suites or the Radisson at Pt. Canaveral? We want good safe parking and clean room, would like to hear your advice and thank you.

We have stayed at the Radisson by the Port several times and thought it was very nice. We would definitely go back. I have never seen a bug. The rooms are clean and the pool area is very pretty and a nice place to sit and enjoy a coffee while waiting for the free shuttle. The breakfast buffet is ok but we prefer eating dinner at one of the restaurants that is located about 15 minutes from the hotel on the water. We ate seafood at Fishlips but there are about four different restaurants in the same area. The hotel staff gave us directions to the restaurants. Enjoy your cruise.

The Radisson is fine. It is an older hotel that has been updated. Our room was fine and we have the Sleep Number beds. I felt everything was absolutely clean even though there is only so much you can do with an old-school hotel bathroom. We liked the locally owned Greek-Italian across the parking lot.

I've heard good things about Country Inn and Suites, too. Don't think you can go wrong with either.
